PRODUCTION Manager

Salary: Starting $115K | Location: Great Falls, MT | Day Shift: 6:00AM-4:30PM, M-Th

The success of an operation this size comes down to one thing—leadership that knows how to bring out the best in people. As Production Manager, you’ll set the tone for the entire shop, leading teams through complex production demands while keeping workflow organized, efficient, and on schedule. Your role is to build momentum, solve challenges before they escalate, and ensure every team is motivated, aligned, and delivering at a high level.

The Production Manager is responsible for directing and monitoring fabrication shop activities, fabrication
progress, and necessary resources to meet the production schedule and metrics daily.

YOUR ROLE:

  • Effectively plan, organize, and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate with staff to resolve potential production problems, continuously improve production, and foster a positive and productive work environment
  • Understand, interpret, and communicate project requirements as defined in the fabrication instructions, ITP, job specifications, and WPS
  • Establish and support workflow policies that enhance efficiency without compromising safety
  • Effectively manage and utilize foreman to oversee a workforce of 150+ employees

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar field.
  • Knowledge of AISC, AWS, and CWB codes and standards
  • Knowledge of computer systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • 7-10 years of experience in structural steel or a closely related field.
  • AWS and CWB certifications preferred
  • Thorough understanding of FCAW welding processes and blueprint interpretation
  • Knowledge of LEAN principles/Kaizen events
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

WELDER – 5 + years’ experience

Wage: Starting $23.70-$27.45/hr. | Location: Great Falls, MT | Day Shift: 6:00AM-4:30PM, M-Th

This role requires significant physical stamina and the ability to perform demanding tasks for extended periods.

YOUR ROLE:

  • Proficiently read and interpret blueprints as needed
  • Weld in the flat (1G) and horizontal (2G), and vertical (3G) positions
  • Proficient in the use and set up of oxyfuel and plasma cutters
  • Understand types of welding discontinuities, prevention, and repair
  • Utilize Carbon Arc Cutting/Gouging processes to remove material
  • Proficient in reading welding symbols
  • Follow ADF safety procedures and practices

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Welder (Level B)
  • High School Diploma or High School Equivalency
  • Completion of welding program and a minimum of 2,000 hours of relevant experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved OR a minimum of 6,000 hours of relevant experience
  • Industry certifications from AWS or CWB preferred
  • Proficient with Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW), and/or Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW)

pURCHASER

Wage: $24-$28/hr. | Location: Great Falls, MT | Day Shift: 6:00AM-4:30PM, M-Th

The Purchasing Specialist is responsible for the efficient, timely, and cost-effective procurement of materials and services to support project and operational needs. This role ensures adherence to established purchasing procedures while negotiating strong, positive relationships with vendors that enhance collaboration and give you the leverage to negotiate the best pricing on materials and services.

YOUR ROLE:

  • Execute day-to-day purchasing activities for equipment, machinery, welding consumables, office supplies, and other miscellaneous materials
  • Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable supply sources while maintaining positive and collaborative vendor relationships
  • Source and onboard new suppliers; negotiate pricing, terms, and supply agreements, including discounts and volume incentives
  • Initiate and manage the quote process; analyze supplier proposals based on quality, cost, delivery timelines, and specifications
  • Create, review, and process purchase orders within the IPS system in a timely and accurate manner

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 3–5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain-related roles preferred
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing/ERP systems
  • PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE: Understanding of manufacturing/welding, basic mechanical knowledge and understanding of tools and equipment

FITTER – 5 + years’ experience

Wage: Starting $23.13-$28.89/hr. | Location: Great Falls, MT | Day Shift: 6:00AM-4:30PM, M-Th

This role requires significant physical stamina and the ability to perform demanding tasks for extended periods.

YOUR ROLE:

  • Assemble various types and sizes of steel for welding according to blueprints
  • Fit semi-complex assemblies with little to no errors
  • Read & interpret semi-complex fabrication blueprints
  • Weld in flat (1g), horizontal (2g), and vertical (3g) positions
  • Layout parts, holes, copes, and bevels accurately

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Fitter (Level B)
  • Completion of a welding program + 4,000 hours of relevant experience, OR 8,000 hours of experience
  • Strong proficiency with GMAW, FCAW, and/or SMAW
  • Ability to work independently & under pressure
  • Industry certifications from AWS or CWB preferred
  • High School Diploma or High School Equivalency.

FABRICATION FOREMAN

Wage: $31-$33/hr. | Location: Great Falls, MT | Shift: DAY: 6:00AM-4:30PM NIGHT: 4:30PM-3AM, M-Th

A night shift differential of $1.50 applies to any time worked after 4:30 pm

You’ll guide daily production, keep your crew focused and accountable, and make sure every piece of work meets strict quality and safety expectations. YOUR ROLE:

  • Oversee production for 7+ fabrication stations
  • Plan, coordinate & monitor daily work activities
  • Ensure quality & safety standards are met
  • Train & mentor employees, enforcing best practices
  • Manage timekeeping & team performance

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • 5+ years of experience in fabrication, supervision & planning
  • Strong leadership & problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in welding (FCAW/MCAW) & blueprint reading

MAINTENANCE Manager

Salary: $90K–$115K | Location: Great Falls, MT | Day Shift: 6:00AM-4:30PM, M-Th

This role requires significant physical stamina and the ability to perform demanding tasks for extended periods as an essential part of the job.

YOUR ROLE:

  • Lead & direct maintenance personnel
  • Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, mechanical & pneumatic systems

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN – Structural Steel Fabrication – NIGHT SHIFT

Starting Wage: $25/hr. | Location: Great Falls, MT | Night Shift: 4:30PM-3AM, M-Th

A night shift differential of $1.50 applies to any time worked after 4:30 pm

YOUR ROLE:

  • Perform electrical maintenance & repairs on facility equipment
  • Diagnose & replace faulty components in machines & systems
  • Maintain forklifts, cranes & production equipment
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on electrical & mechanical systems
  • Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other equipment as needed

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Strong mechanical & electrical knowledge
  • Reliable, detail-oriented & willing to learn
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs. & work in various conditions (hot, cold, dusty, etc.)

INDUSTRIAL COATING INSPECTOR

Wage: $23-$27/hr. | Location: Great Falls, MT | Day Shift: 6:00AM-4:30PM, M-Th

The Coating Inspector shall inspect all coating and painting activities in accordance with project standards and specifications.

YOUR ROLE:

  • Inspection of all coating activities and surface preparation.
  • Perform appropriate in-process inspections.
  • Checking and evaluating coatings in accordance with specific procedures.
  • Document inspection activities on appropriate route sheets.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • High School Diploma or High School Equivalency.
  • Familiarity with AMPP (certification preferred) and SSPC standards.
  • Experience in industrial coating inspection.

CNC FOREMAN

Wage: $31-$33/hr. | Location: Great Falls, MT | Day Shift: 6:00AM-4:30PM, M-Th

This role requires significant physical stamina and the ability to perform demanding tasks for extended periods.

YOUR ROLE:

  • The CNC Foreman supervises and assigns CNC Operators tasks based on production needs
  • Oversee all CNC functions, material movement, and machine maintenance
  • Report and coordinate equipment repairs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Establish open lines of communication across departments to ensure knowledge of all ongoing progress and expectations

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • High School Diploma or High School Equivalency
  • 5 years of CNC manufacturing experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved
  • Prior management or supervisory experience preferred

YARD OPERATOR

Wage: $20.81-$24.27/hr. | Location: Great Falls, MT | Day Shift: 6:00AM-4:30PM, M-Th

A night shift differential of $1.50 applies for hours worked after 4:30 pm

This role requires significant physical stamina and the ability to perform demanding tasks for extended periods.

YOUR ROLE:

  • Operate forklifts, telehandlers & overhead cranes to move materials
  • Load/unload materials & relocate supplies to designated areas
  • Perform routine equipment inspections & ensure OSHA compliance
  • Excellent ability to efficiently operate various pieces of heavy equipment as needed
  • Maintain situational awareness & adhere to safety protocols

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • 2+ years of heavy equipment operation experience
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
  • Valid driver’s license (truck driving experience preferred)
  • Detail-oriented & self-motivated with strong mechanical knowledge
  • High School Diploma or High School Equivalency

HEAVY DIESEL MECHANIC

Wage: $23.50+/hr. | Location: Great Falls, MT | Day Shift: 6:00AM-4:30PM, M-Th

This role requires significant physical stamina and the ability to perform demanding tasks for extended periods.

YOUR ROLE:

  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, & diesel systems
  • Perform maintenance duties in line with established preventative maintenance procedures
  • Diagnose and repair engines, heavy-duty components, and vehicle malfunctions
  • Ensure compliance with company safety practices & federal/state regulations

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • 2-3 years’ experience with diesel engines & heavy equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail
  • Ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with electrical & hydraulic systems

CNC OPERATOR – NIGHT SHIFT

Wage: $23.11-$26.00/hr. | Location: Great Falls, MT | Night Shift: 4:30PM-3AM, M-Th

A nightshift differential of $1.50 applies to any time worked after 4:30 pm

This role requires significant physical stamina and the ability to perform demanding tasks for extended periods.

YOUR ROLE:

  • Safely and efficiently run CNC equipment
  • Able to run basic IPS operations
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks for CNC equipment
  • Log and track tooling used on each piece of equipment
  • Basic understanding of reading/interpreting blueprints

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • High School Diploma or High School Equivalency
  • Completion of a CNC Machinery training program preferred

CRANE OPERATOR – NIGHT SHIFT

Wage: $24.27-$27.16/hr. | Location: Great Falls, MT | Night Shift: 4:30PM-3AM, M-Th

A nightshift differential of $1.50 applies to any time worked after 4:30 pm

This role requires significant physical stamina and the ability to perform demanding tasks for extended periods.

YOUR ROLE:

  • Utilize the traveling overhead crane to manipulate materials
  • Understand complex crane operations
  • Fill out material movement sheets accurately
  • Strap & secure loads to trailers properly

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Previous experience in crane operation
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and basic math skills
  • Ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented and able to plan & manage time effectively
